Great River Tire's Automotive Maintenance Schedule
The following is a Recommended maintenance schedule set up following the majority of vehicle manufactures scheduled maintenance. We make the recommendations based on your mileage and condition of components to be serviced. We follow the Motorist Assurance Program guidelines in our recommendations. Every 3000-5000 miles: Change the oil, inspect suspension, steering system, tire pressure, tire wear, exhaust system, fluid levels, belts, hoses, exterior bulbs, drive train, filters (air & cabin if easily accessible) & lube if applicable. Change diesel fuel filters every other oil change.
Every 5000-6000 miles: Rotate & balance tires, set tire pressure, inspect brakes, steering, & suspension.
Every 12,000-15,000 miles: Change Air & Cabin filter.
Every 20,000-25,000 miles: Rear Differential service on most trucks if fluid inspection deems necessary. Transfer case & front differential on 4 wheel drive vehicles.
Every 30,000-35,000 miles: Transmission flush, fuel injection maintenance, fuel filter (if accessible), power steering flush, brake system flush, coolant flush, Differential service's if not preformed already.
50,000 miles: Non-platinum spark plugs & wires replacement. Replacement of Shocks, Struts, coolant hoses, & Belts with tensioner is recommended.
100,000 miles: Platinum spark plugs & wires replacement. Timing Belt replacement recommended.
Annually: Alignment check & A/C Tune up.

Initial service(s) must begin within 36,000 miles to receive 100% coverage. If your vehicle has between 36,001 and 75,000 miles on the odometer you receive 50% coverage.
To maintain protection:
Service interval: 30,000 miles.
Engine service interval: 5,000 miles.
BG Protection Plan covers only components serviced by BG products.
Protection Plan Coverage:
• Engine up to $4‚000 USD per service interval.
• Transmission up to $2‚000 USD per service interval.
• Drive Line up to $4‚000 USD per component per service interval.
• Power Steering up to $4,000 USD per service interval.
• Cooling System up to $4000 USD per service interval.
• Brake System up to $4000 USD per service interval.
